| Description: | One of the many new features introduced in Notes 8.5.1 is the ability to open a view in a new window. This lets you keep the view open in one window while doing other tasks in the Notes client like composing an email while being able to quickly refer back to the view's contents. |

Open a View in a New Window
Right-click on the tab in the Notes client that has the view you want to open in a new window. Then choose the Open in New Window menu option as shown below:
The view will open in a new window allowing easy viewing of the view while working on other tasks in the Notes client.
Remember, this new feature only works in the 8.5.1 client.
