Did you ever want to copy just part of a view to another document or email? Notes 6 allows a user to select documents in a view and then copy/paste the information for the selected documents to a table in a new document complete with doclinks to the original documents.
Use any of the following procedure to copy a view as a table:
- Open up the view you wish to copy the information from and select the documents. In the example below the information (documents) for Miami Beach Golf and White Sands Golf Course were selected.
- Select Edit | Copy Selected as Table from the menu.
- Position your cursor in the document or email where the new table will be created. Select Edit | Paste from the menu. The selected information from the view is pasted as a table. The style and contents of the table can then be edited. Delete the doclinks column if the readers of this document will not have access to the original view.
