4. Still on Notes and Domino 7?

IBM is ending service for Notes and Domino 7 on April 30th. There will be no more technical support or code fixes from IBM. If you are upgrading (and you should) to Notes and Domino 8.5, then let TLCC train both your technical professionals and end users.

Application developers moving to 8.5 from Domino 7 should take the Notes Domino 8 and 8.5 Application Developer Update Package:

System administrators moving to 8.5 from Domino 7 should take the Notes Domino 8 and 8.5 System Administrator Update Package:

5. Five Ways to Save on Notes, Sametime, and Quickr User Training

IT departments are expected to find cost savings to help their organizations in today's challenging economic times. One possible action may be to eliminate or reduce user training. Is this really saving your organization money? Calls to the Help Desk will increase and user productivity will decrease as they attempt to use Notes, Sametime, and Quickr without any training. What is the right solution? Classroom training is expensive and time-consuming, plus, you still need to acquire or write the class materials. Instead, how about delivering user training right to the user's desk using the Notes client and/or a web browser? TLCC's user courses can save your organization money by:
  1. Increasing user productivity by delivering training right in the Notes sidebar (shown to the right.)
  2. Creating custom user training that fits your environment with a minimal investment in both time and money.
  3. Maximizing your investment in Notes by training users to take advantage of all the features in the Notes client, not just mail.
  4. Reducing calls to your help desk.
  5. Acquiring just one low cost corporate license for all the courses needed for both new users and those who are upgrading.

Try out TLCC's Notes based user training at no charge, including our new way to deliver training right in the Notes sidebar. Also, check out TLCC's free white paper that explains the options available for Notes user training.
