1. TLCC Releases 8.5.3 Updates to Several Courses

TLCC has released new versions of the courses below to cover the new features added to Notes and Domino 8.5.3:

TLCC protects your training investment by always allowing active students to download any new releases of their courses! Active students registered for the courses above can download these new releases at no charge. Inactive students can reactivate their access to get the 8.5.3 course release for only $100. What other Domino training provider provides for course updates after you take the course AND releases new versions of a course for almost every point release?

3. Tips for Administrators to Speed Up All Your Notes Clients

4. Last Chance to Sign Up for the February 28th Instructor Led On-line XPages Course

The next instructor led online version of the Developing XPages for Notes and Domino 8.5 starts on February 28th. You will spend 4 hours a day with TLCC's instructors in an interactive small group setting for eight days (weekdays only). This is a great way to get started with XPages.

5. Webinar Tomorrow - Java for Domino Developers

6. OpenNTF Development Contest

OpenNTF has announced a new development contest. There will be two winners in the Application category and each one will win $1,600 (U.S.) The two winners of the re-usable controls category will win $800 each. The deadline is June 30, 2012, so start coding today!

7. Using Managed Java Beans in XPages

Per Henrik Lausten has created an article on creating a managed Java Bean to be used in XPages. This is a good introduction to Java Beans and has great references for more information on Java Beans in XPages.

9. Upcoming Lotus User Group Meetings and Conferences

There are several conferences coming up in the next few months:

New England Lotus User Group (NELUG) - has a meeting on March 13th at 6:00 PM at IBM in Waltham, MA. The topic is Smart Plays with Compliance by Bill Malchisky.

Belux Lotus User Group (BLUG) - This no-charge user group meeting has forty sessions including an Introduction to XPages Development session presented by Howard Greenberg from TLCC. All the sessions will be presented in English. This user group meeting will be held in Antwerp, Belgium on March 22nd and 23rd.

EntwicklerCamp'12 - will be held in Gelsenkirchen (near Dusseldorf) Germany and features many hands-on sessions, including a hands-on Introduction to XPages Development session by Howard Greenberg from TLCC.
