2. Two User Group Conferences This Fall in Indianapolis and Brighton, U.K.

Be sure to attend one of the two great user conferences planned for this summer! MWLUG will be held on August 21st to 23rd in Indianapolis, IN and the ICON UK conference will be held on September 1st and 2nd in Brighton, UK. Both events are basically at no charge to attend (MWLUG does have a $35 registration fee) and promise to have lots of great speakers and fun social events in the evenings! TLCC will be hosting a "TackItOn" day at both MWLUG and ICON UK. The TackItOn day TLCC presented at IamLUG in St. Louis (see the picture below) was a great success and very well received by all the attendees! Read what one attendee wrote about the IamLug TackItOn:

"The opportunity to get so much information even in the limited time frame and at such a great price, has me looking at other classes TLCC offers to improve my skillsets in other areas. Paul was very much in tune with the class and providing us insight into areas we could actually come back and begin to implement. Greatest class opportunity ever!" - Scott A. Long

These TackItOn sessions will teach you how to quickly create a great user interface for your XPages applications using the new controls built right into Domino 9 (and in the Extension Library for 8.5). You will get:
  • A full day of training from an expert TLCC instructor
  • Access to TLCC's Rapid XPages Development using Application Layout and Dojo UI Controls self-paced course for either 8.5 or 9 (approximately 28 hours of training)
  • And for an additional year an expert TLCC instructor is a click away if you have questions
The course by itself sells for $899 and a day with an instructor is normally $600. You get both the full day with an expert TLCC instructor, plus, access to the self-paced course all for only $499!

Visit the Kim Greene Consulting web site to see a sample of what you can do with the controls we will cover in the TackItOn session. TLCC updated Kim's site using the Application Layout control as well as many of the other controls that we will cover in the TackItOn sessions and included in the TLCC course.
