1. End of Service on Notes and Domino 6.5.x is April 30th

If you are still using Notes and Domino 6.5 note that support from IBM will end on April 30th. It is time to upgrade!

3. Fix Pack 2 for Notes and Domino 8.5.1 Has Been Released

IBM has released Fix Pack 2 for Notes and Domino version 8.5.1. This Fix Pack can also be installed on the no charge version of Domino Designer (Fix Pack 1 could not). Note that Fix Pack 2 is cumulative and includes all the fixes in Fix Pack 1.

5. Understanding the Directory Structure used for the Notes 8 Client

Ever wonder where the Notes client installs files and what the directory structure is? The IBM wiki has a good article on where files get placed during the Notes client installation, what these files do, what files get modified when Notes is run, and what files will remain after Notes is uninstalled.

6. Lotusphere Comes to You Online

The LotusUserGroup.org site will be hosting online session with updated presentations from Lotusphere. The first session is April 6th and is IBM Lotus Notes and Domino Strategy and the Future of the Desktop and is presented by IBMers Kevin Cavanaugh and Ed Brill. On April 8th is the session on The Lotus Application Development Strategy. There are six subsequent sessions.

7. Open Mic call on Domino Server Upgrade Best Practices hosted by IBM Support
