Notes and Domino 12 are available now at the HCL Flexnet site!

2. May OpenNTF Webinar - Domino V12 Certification Manager

Managing SSL certificates in Domino was always a challenge. The certificates had to be created using OpenSSL and then imported into a key ring file using the kyrtool. Both tools were command line based. Now in V12 HCL has introduced the Certificate Manager. This will greatly simplify the the process of using certificates in Domino. And there are other security enhancements that will be covered in the webinar. Daniel Nashed, an HCL Lifetime Ambassador, will cover the setup and use of the new Domino V12 Certificate Manager. This webinar is a must for any Domino admins (and developers too!)

This OpenNTF webinar will be on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM (New York time). To register for this webinar go to:

3. HCL Launch Event on June 7th

HCL is kicking off the Domino 12 launch on June 7th at 9:00AM New York Time. This will be followed by two weeks of webinars about this new release.

4. Be Aware of this in Domino 12 Web Applications

If you have links in your web applications like /names.nsf?login (to redirect to a login page for example) be aware that they won't work in Domino 12. This was done to improve security. There is a way to revert behavior back to pre-Domino 12 behavior by using a notes.ini setting. Be sure to inspect your applications for these links. Note that links like /names.nsf?opendatabase&login will work fine.
