1. BIG IBM Announcements about Notes, Domino, Verse and Sametime

IBM announced major news about Notes, Domino, Verse and Sametime. First, in 2018 IBM will release Domino 10 (X?), the first major release in years. Next, they announced that IBM is partnering with HCL Technologies on future development of these IBM products. IBM will continue to do the product sales, marketing, and product direction but HCL will be doing the product development. IBM is licensing the code to HCL, so, HCL has a vested interest in enhancing the product to drive future sales. IBM and HCL have partnered before on other IBM products in a similar arrangement.

Finally, IBM has announce plans for Domino Jam 2025, a series of events designed to gather customer requirements on future product enhancements and additions. You can register for the Domino 2015 Jam now. IBM will announce the dates and locations of Jam events later.
