1. Domino V10 Announcement Plans

Domino V10 will be formally announced on October 9th at 10:15 (Central Europe time). The main event will be held in Frankfurt, Germany and everyone is invited to attend (RSVP using the link below). There will also be a live simulcast via Facebook as well as events in other cities listed below starting on October 10th:

Brussels (Engage User Group)
New York City, NY
Costa Mesa, CA
Tokyo, Japan
China

2. TLCC Course Compatibility with Domino V10

TLCC is in the process of evaluating future courses for Domino V10 (for the new functionality and the new programming options). However, all the existing functionality from Domino 9 is still available in V10. Therefore, TLCC's Domino 9 courses will continue to be very valuable in learning Domino development and administration for Domino V10 and beyond. If your courses are already installed in Notes 9 and you upgrade to V10 the courses will continue to work. However the course installer will NOT work on V10 until TLCC releases a V10 compatible install file for each course.

TLCC is in the process of adding support for V10 installations. The V10 Compatibility page (link below) will indicate which courses have been updated to allow a V10 installation. Once the course installation file has been released for your course(s) you can download the V10 enabled installation file if your course is still active at tlcc.com. If your courses do not appear in the Downloads page than you will have to re-enable access to the course (or upgrade to the Domino 9 version). The fee to re-enable access will be $99 per course.

4. Importantant iOS 12 and Traveler Compatibility Issue

Some people have reported that Traveler email synchronization stopped working after users upgraded to iOS12. It appears the issue is that some Traveler servers are not correctly configured to allow Basic authentication for Traveler related urls (session authentication is not supported with Traveler). Note that Basic authentication is when your browser displays a username/password prompt instead of a full page login web page. The test is to use the following url against your Traveler server and if you get a username/password prompt than you are good. If you get a login web page than you have an issue. Note! Replace "servername" with your Traveler server name. This url assumes SSL is setup (which I hope every web server is configured for, if not, you got some major security issues!)

https://servername/servlet/traveler
