Learn how to move your Domino applications to the iPhone, Android, and Blackberry devices with this self-paced distance learning course. This course will teach you how to develop mobile XPages applications using the new mobile controls included in Domino 9. Learn how to take a Notes application and convert it for mobile use to display both Domino views and documents. This course covers how to:

  • Setup an application to use the mobile controls
  • Mobile device testing using actual devices, simulators and browsers
  • Use the mobile controls to create mobile pages in a single XPage
  • Add an outline control to a page
  • Use Domino views in mobile applications
  • Display Domino documents
  • Create and edit Domino documents with a mobile device
  • Build navigation between mobile web pages
  • Advanced techniques used in the design and user interface of mobile applications
  • Setup a Home Screen icon
  • Use HTML 5 input types to take advantage of mobile controls for dates, phone numbers, numbers, and more
  • Create links to send emails, text messages, and provide a touch to call link
  • Use Google Maps in your mobile application to display maps of a certain location, the user's current location and display directions between two points
